Simple ways to master English

          English is an international language and hence it is important  and useful for us to master it.  There are ways we can try to improve English.  I think learning any language requires a constant, attentive effort and exposure to learn.

          There is no short-cut in any language learning, for sure though there are easier ways to learn it.  As we know, all languages are quite systematic in nature.  That means there are regular patterns or general rules to follow.  Any standard language is made up of forms and functions.  We must know the forms well,  and their functions as well.  In short, we must know English grammar well.  To remember English words, we must know the pronunciation of the words.  Learning has only taken place when you can remember what you have learnt.

 Therefore, I believe in learning the general rules of the language well through both intensive learning with the guidance from teachers and extensive reading to get reinforced.   

          There must be enough input in the forms of listening activities and reading texts before we can expect the output in speaking and writing.   For the input, that means you must have enough opportunities to hear and listen the English language in different activities and social interactions.  Besides, we must read widely to get familiar with the structures, to acquire vocabulary and gain knowledge.  For the output, that means we use the language in speaking and writing.  We must have enough practice in speaking and writing to master it.

          All in all, a language learning is a life-long process.  Nobody dares to say that they have learnt all.
